Our Wine Country Tour by Bus starts by crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, it will take about an hour to enter the beautiful Sonoma Valley, where California’s wine industry began in the 1850’s. The tour will visit one or two wineries located in the Carneros Region. One winery specializes in Italian wines, and the other in Zinfandel, Chardonnay or Pinot Noir. Your tour may visit Vintage 1870 in Yountville, located in the old Groezinger Winery building with restaurants and shops where you can buy locally produced olive oil, cheese, etc., and they also have a wine tasting cellar! Or we may stop at a deli in Sonoma Valley with a picnic at a Vineyard. We will head north on Highway 29 to the world famous Napa Valley, and Yountville, named after George Yount, who planted the first grapes in Napa Valley. After lunch, you may head southeast into Jameson Canyon, or visit another scenic Napa or Carneros winery. Your Wine Country Bus Tour will return to San Francisco with great views of San Francisco’s beautiful downtown skyline and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Muir Woods & Sausalito Tour. Muir Woods is home of the spectacular Redwood Sequoia Trees, the tallest species in the world! On our Muir Woods visit you will have the rare chance to walk or hike at your own pace amongst these beautiful Sequoia trees. There are many trails in Muir Woods for you to choose from that either follow the valley creek bed or reach high into the hillside. During the heart of the Salmon breeding season, you may even get to see Salmon attempting to jump up stream! Leaving from your San Francisco hotel downtown or at Radisson Fisherman's Wharf Hotel on 250 Beach Street between 8:00 and 9:00 AM in either an up to 36 passenger mini-bus or a 15 passenger van, the Redwoods & Wine Country Two-Day Tour is a great combination of visiting the Muir Woods National Monument and spending some extra time in the beautiful Wine Country of Sonoma, which is only about an hour away from San Francisco. Going to Muir Woods with its Coastal Redwood Sequoia trees in the morning of the first day, you will approximately have an hour walk through the tallest trees in the world. Afterwards you will head north to Sonoma Valley and enjoy your first tasting. Sonoma Plaza will be your next stop and it's also the end of your first half of the Redwoods & Wine Country Tour. Enjoy the rest of the day with more wine tasting and appreciate California's world famous Wine Country. Your hotel for the night is the Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn which is located just around the corner of Sonoma Plaza. On the next day, you will meet your group for the day at around lunch time and continue the tour as it ended on the day before: with more wine tasting stops. In the late afternoon, on our way home, we will drive through the town of Sausalito, home of sailboats and floating houses. Sausalito also offers a beautiful view of the Bay and San Francisco.
